Muscovy Duck laying habits

My Muscovies started by laying one egg a day, then two, there, four, five, back to four, then five for a couple of days, now three eggs for each of the past three days. There are six birds of laying age. The longest laying bird would have been laying for about six weeks now, I think. Should I expect some to be taking a break by now, or should I be looking even harder than I already have for hidden eggs?
