Muscovy duck swollen belly. New Breathing issues.

I’d def keep her crated so you can keep up with her. That way if she only has tum water she’ll drink that. Hopefully if it’s a stuck egg the tums will help her get it out. @casportpony helped a duck member with her duck yesterday who was having trouble laying turned out once she got the tums in her and in warm water soaking she laid a soft shell egg.

She's started bathing, so she's starting to feel better. Should I start with dura-pen? It's the only antibiotics I have at the moment. Or should I hold off on antibiotics?

How’s she doing? Another thing I read is placing them on a heating pad towel wrapped around and on lowest setting while in the crate the moisture (humidity) can help if egg is stuck.

She's doing okay. She's in the crate near the other ducks. I think I have a heating pad around here somewhere. I'll give her another warm bath in the morning and feel around her vent some more. Hopefully she'll lay all by herself by morning. :fl

That’s awesome keep us updated?

I'll try my best to update daily. If this girl passes I'll definitely need to rehome one of my drakes. She's my chocolate drakes favorite girl.

I already need more ducks for my boys, but this would put way too much strain on remaining girls. I don't have room at the moment, so getting more ducks will have to wait until another coop is built. We'll see how everything plays out soon enough.

She's in the coop by herself for the day. She's definitely drinking, but I have not seen her eat. She's pooped watery stools and her crop looks pretty flat. I plan on giving her another warm bath soon. I'll need to pick up some lube so I can check out her vent more thoroughly.
