I have 20 muscovy duckling that hatched 5 days ago. Of the 20 there were a mixture of wild type black, black pied, black barred, and 2 blues. I am currently decided which to keep. I have narrowed it down to all but 1 of the blues. The question I have is, both blues have blue head (which I know they may lose) however one of them has a line on the eyes like the wild type blacks. Does anyone know what this means as far as coloring and pattern wise, or will both babies end up looking the same? I just thought it was unusual that one had the eye lines and the other didn't. I will try to get pics a little later. All are freshly out of the water and you can't really make out the difference on camera.
