Good afternoon everyone!
I am a complete newbie. We have a large pond, took in two male Rouen and a female. Unfortunately my dog got to the two males. Not wanting the female to be lonely, I found two other white ducks that needed a home. Figured out afterwards that they are Muscovy.
The female laid eggs while we were away and they have just hatched today. These ducks are free range, I do privide corn and a coop... without a run.
Can someone please guide me in the basics I should provide for these ducklings? Should I put a fence up? But what about mom? Planning on going to tractor supply stire to get some food for them. Thanks in advance

I have not delt with “baby ducks” I have 3 (2 female Peking 1 mallard) they are free range just like my chickens, they put themselves up at night with the chickens and I close the door in the morning they go out all day with the chickens. I do have a rubber tub that I got from tsc that I fill up with water for there baths/ drinking. We have a 100x100 pond that we are currently trying to fix, so hopefully soon they will get to enjoy the pond!

Winter (mama) is very protective at this point. I will get more pics when she's feeling more social.
