Neither look that large footed to me. Girls get there wing feathers quicker to. Eventually it becomes unmistakable. The drakes just keep getting, bigger and bigger plus the hens will honk.. the drakes just hiss lol The difficulty is the hens don't exactly have small feet with this breed but when they bang up against a drake you can see they are smaller.
I also am finding it's harder to see on the coloured birds, my oldest flock are whites.. whereas my newest pair are chocolates. Feather development is more hidden and even the feet are harder to tell with all the dark shading.
My scovie duckling is almost 11 weeks tomorrow and he still does baby talk, wonder when they start sounding like adults, he actually sounds like a female.

oh gosh.. should be soon.. i have to really think on this.. mine will be 4mths on Sept 3rd, the "ladies" have been honking for awhile.. i guess i should have written it down when they started lol

you mean you don't have a baby book of all they have done so far, first step, first tooth, oops no first tooth.. I know first words
Well I think I may have a pair. The one who has the dark feet is feathered more and has a solid bill. The one with the white feet is feather much less and now has redish quite visible around the base of his beak.
