Muscovy ducklings

So what I've read online for determining the sex of Muscovys males are more u shaped and females more v shaped for tails is that correct?
So it is said but that is not entirely reliable

The only way to be certain is to wait until they are older. Males are larger than females -- but that isn't necessarily aparent until 3 or more months when they start getting thicker legs and keep on growing. By 4-6 months muscovy start growing carruncles -- males get larger fleshier carruncles than females. But the best way to tell the difference is by their voice. Males only huff and puff -- often with their heads back and wagging their tails excitedly. Females make gentle gurgling sounds sometime trilling quietly a little. you might know your ducklings sex by 4 months but you might not be certain until 6 months. I thought my duckling in the earlier photo was female from 'her' temperatment and size. But she kept on growing and by 6 months, I had to admint that she was a he!!!

Ever since she was able to walk she was put into water but she doesn't like it she won't stay in the water long enough to bath in it and it's somewhat shallow to where she's not floating yet but she doesn't seem to like the water I give her things to do in the water but she's actually afraid of the water I've come to the conclusion that she's not a water bird I also have a water bin for her that she can hop in and out but she don't go into it so I guess she's not fond of the water
Ha ha -- that is like my first one in the photo by two weeks old he could hop out of the washing up bowl and did so but now at 2 years old he is the one of my flock that bathes in water the most. I have a sandpit filled with water -- muscovy like to stand on the side and a kiddie pool will soon collapse under the weight. This was Daffy two days ago!
