Thanks for the reply Im also in On near Ottawa. Well there is a nest made out of the straw and 3 eggs in but i have never seen either one near it. The black one i think is the female but is the bigger one and more red on face, trills when speaking and the gray one just sits around and kinda makes a breath noise but is not as active as the black one and is a little smaller and less red on face. i have had a hard time telling the sex with only the two around dont have anything to compare to. from what i have seen on the net it confuses me because all the signs are backwards for me. i will try and get new pics up asap. Thanks again. Cheers. I hope to have a pair but i dont want her to sit there for no reason. would it hurt to wait and see her sit for awhile to know which one is laying then take the eggs.
