Muscovy ducks?

Just saw these at a makeshift pond outside our property. Are these muscovy ducks? never seen them around here before (or at all, had to google to figure out what they might be).

Thanks! walked by twice and had never seen huge ducks that looked like that before.

Bleenie, I have some black pieds just like that. I am hoping that at least one of the girls goes broody soon.

That drake looks identical to mine! I'd invite them into my coop/run if I were you. I got mine used to following me around the yard with bread (they liked the scratch, but would keep looking for more for 10 min per toss), and then they walked right into the run after me. They were concerned at first, but then decided they really liked the 24/7 buffet, treats, and lack of things trying to eat them at night. They don't even look at the door anymore.

Of course the hen is now "busy" for the next 30 days or so, so she ain't leaving anyway!
