Muscovy eggs arrived.....

All 8 made it safe and sound! I still haven't candled them and will probably wait until tonight or tomorrow to candle them to see if there are any cracks I can't see. I was suprised to see how much they weigh even thought they aren't that much bigger than chicken eggs. Well they are semi bigger but not as big as I thought they would be. Here are some pics...the eggs will be set tomorrow and then they will hatch around April 9-10....aka My B-day!!!

Just candled them and all of the eggs are still 100% A OKAY! Also marked them with the letters GL because I got them from Gloria and also tomorrows date. They will be hatching April 9th.
So even if the hatch runs into the next day they will still hatch on my B-day!

I'm so glad they arrived ok. You didn't tell me they'll hatch on your birthday....well, I hope you have a VERY happy birthday!

I think Chocolate and Blue pied hens...crossed with a blue drake.
But you would have to ask Gloria for sure.
