I'm glad our incubator has kept working for this hatch, the fan has been getting stuck for the past week. Needs to be taken apart and oiled as soon as we're done with it.

I dropped one of my gardening gloves last night and Niblet grabbed it and has claimed it. My daughter had to let him keep it in the cage to sleep with it last night because he was making a ruckus when she tried to take it. What a stinker! I wonder if it's because she took his pink hippo puppet to give to the babies to cuddle with? I think I'll have to give it back to him and see if he'll give me the glove back.

This last egg has a super thick shell, no wonder it's taking so long! All I can see is the cute pink bill a dark eye and lots of yellow fuzz on the head. I wonder if it's yellow all over.

Has to be a muscovy if the shell is thick, I just about have to have a hammer to crack one of mine open.. can you see the bean on the tip of the bill?

This is such a cool story and so funny, .... i can´t help but wonder if these people that sold them too you know anything about ducks at all.!!!
Everyone should keep an eye out for when they are back on ebay and then report them.
Can´t wait to see this last one.
