(dont know if this is posted in the right section)
anyway I love muscovies I had one a few years ago I adopted and he had something called slip wing/angel wing
it was minor and he functioned that was my first experience with it.
a few months ago I was given two Muscovy ducklings they did fine until recently the bigger ones wing has started to slip bad he cant seem to get it back under him right and now the little ones wings are slipping but not as bad.
I dont know if its their food or just genetic (I was told it could be either) Ive been feeding them a multi bird lay pellet
does anyone have any information on this or any advise? I love them they are like my kids I feel terrible:( they do free roam and have grass and veggies I have runner ducks and have had runners for many years and have had no issues Thanks:)

Slip-Wing is both Genetic and Nutritional.
A parent sock can produce offspring with slip-wing but it is also nutritional because some breeds of waterfowl are prone to slip-wing when fed a High Protein, High Energy feed also feeds that are low in Vitamin D, Vitamin E and or Phosphorus can also cause slip-wing.

What feed are you feeding also how old are they?
