Muscovy hen changing colour

So recently my ducks have had a poor attempt at a malt, and I have noticed one has begun developing colour (all ducks are white). For about a week I have noticed brown and black flecks coming in on her neck, but this evening on lock up I have noticed grey feathers sprouting on her chest. I will get photos in the morning, but I wanted to start this thread while I was thinking of it. Can mature ducks change colours? She is already laying.

Yes..Many as they mature can change colours.

Most of my Muscovy females that are colored with each molt have gone more white. Never heard of a solid white and I had 3 at one time molting from white to another color. Does you Muscovy have blue eyes?

Only one of my hens has been changing color. She's brown with white but over the last couple months her head has turned white.

@Miss Lydia why did you ask she she had blue eyes? One of my scovie hens is white with black on her head and has blue eyes. I picked her out cause of those eyes

I have never seen a solid white Muscovy that didn’t have blue eyes. That’s cool yours has blue eyes they are so pretty. Your chocolate duck has the white head gene mine do too all my colored ones.

Thank you! I was actually going through pictures the other day and I guess till then I hadn't realized how much some of my baby's have changed!! Had to take all new pics!
