Muscovy Incubation, by Broody or Incubator

I've always wondered why they're so tricky to incubate versus other breeds.

I tossed quite a few eggs out, so I don't think I'll get great results with the batch in the incubator. I think I'm done trying it.

You've had MUCH better success than I ever did

Now that I see how well the girls do, I don't think I'll ever try again.

I've been away busy taking care of a turtle attack, trying to get the turtle and we are re-digging our pond. I've just been exhausted. My girl Bugs got her foot chewed up and a bite that looks like it tried to take her leg off. Now she bites and snaps like a turtle. Treating her has not been fun. Hoping to put her back outside this weekend

My only duck Baby, went broody on 20 eggs. At the time I had a Drake (another story lol) but anyhoo 4 were infertile, which left 16 and only six internally pipped and ANTS killed 3 if those and one was a little runty. I don't have the Drake anymore but I'm getting a new one tomorrow or the next day ! :woot

It got Fred in the butt and no sooner then I had him out of the house I had to admit Bugs. Her bite was much worse. I actually thought I would have to put her down but she came around and hopefully will go back outside tomorrow
