and if the bird isn't fully grown how would you tell if it has whitehead?


Well if it has two dominant genes then the white head should come in when it starts getting it's a juvenile, but if it has one dominant gene and one recessive gene then they might not get a full white head till six months or later, but you can tell by if the juvenile has white flecks on it's head if it's dominant recessive

Chocolate is sex link, so to get a pure chocolate you'll probably need a chocolate male as well, here i used this to teach me genetics, but then i got into genetics because i want to major in zoology and genetics in animals.

I know but acording to most genetic chats if I cross a black drake to a chocolate duck I'll get all black ducklings but the drakes should carry the chocolate gene then if I cross back to a chocolate duck then I should get some chocolates (I too study genetics)
