I'm a bit worried about Elvis and Truffle. Lately Elvis has been not wanting Truffle to come into the duck coop at night. And he's been pigging out on oyster shell, is Elvis possibly a duck?

Elvis is diff an Elvis size and face wise. not sure what's going on with the oyster shell unless he could be using it for grit?As far as his attitude with Truffle he maybe just showing his male dominance, i have had to separate out my drakes from my ducks I was having a problem getting some of my girls inside at night because the drake they slept with was messy with them, that time of year. and as for frost bite does look like he has some I have 2 like that I have just been watching for signs of infection so far both look good.

1-2 Tab per gallon as a tonic a couple times a week

Ok I dump their water dishes every day due to the fact they end up with a good bottom layer of mud in it so every couple days put the ACV in then dump it and the end of the day and repeat a couple days later?

(I just want to make sure it's given correctly I have a thing for measurements and medicine :D)

I do the same, even though they don't don't seem to care they are drinking dirty water I do. I use ACV a couple times a week and use Nutri Drench a couple times a week the rest of the time it's just plain water. What i do is starting tonight when I clean and refill their buckets is I'll do the ACV then tomorrow night they will get plain then next night they get Nutri Drench then next plain then back to ACV, hope I didn't confuse.

Well said :clap awesome ok my feed store doesn't sell that but I will use the ACV and instead of Nutri Drench im gonna use my Vitamin/Electrolyte powder just cuz I didn't use it this fall when I meant too.In the fall right before everyone starts molting I try to give yogurt every other day for about a week with some oats as well to get everyone's immune systems up before they start the molt when they get weaker due to the fact it takes so much energy and this year I got the vitamin powder to put in the water well the stupid bag had the weirdest dosage and I was so busy at the time I never gave it to them so because of it one of my BO hen's got IB which they can get from mud and it was raining a lot so Normally they are already set for their molt and bad weather but because I hadn't given a probiotic that hen got too sick and was culled. As simple as that because oats has a high protein level it helps produce feathers and the yogurt is a probiotic(this is why you should eat yogurt daily)it has a type of good bacteria that is in our stomachs that aids our immune system and chickens stomachs are much similar to ours in the way bacteria in stuff works sorry if that was confusing it's just some cool facts I learned when dealing with sicknesses.
