My Quacks won champion waterfowl! Although she's still mad at me for waking her up at 5 AM, I think we did good for our first show

my daughter curled up with our silver barred muscovy that was taken by a sea eagle our adults blue female is Frederie the white is Maria 9blue eyes) and the male is spike frederie with the silver barred and Henerie the grey and white.

anyone know what colour my blue/grey female is? She has brown a lace pattern as well.

Thank you. she got her name from my sister naming her fred as she thought she was a boy. My 6yr old changed it to frederie. Shes my favorite Too. We have a small dam with a 6ft chainlink fence so that where all our muskies are.

just went and fed my Ducks. found it odd that Frederie didn't come up for a feed as she's normally 1st. found her sitting on the island in the middle of the dam fussing with something before she finally swam over for a feed. swam over to the island to check on what she was doing to find a beautifully feathered nest with 8 gorgeous eggs in it. Clever girl has gone and got broody! i wondered why she has taken over from our white duck as Spikes favorite girl. now i know. little fluffies coming! watch this space!!!

Hooray for the future ducklings! I was late getting home tonight and was nervous because the duck house has been shut up during the day due to goannas getting in and taking whatever eggs are available. So there are 4 eggs in there that noone chose to claim yet. When I get home late all the girls go down and sleep in the creek, and The Don waits outside the coup. But tonight.....the don was there plus one little mrs duck sitting outside the coup waiting to get inside too!
