Muscovy keepers share your pics!

My ducks gave me a surprise. I went to open their coop this morning only to find out my first pair of eggs. I just can't contain my joy of this, yay

!!! Now I need to identify the ladies (they are six) that have started the party.

anyone know what colour my blue/grey female is? She has brown a lace pattern as well.
well by the looks of it bc i have male who looks just like her his mom was blue fawn, chocolate majority of blue fawn and dad was either one of my black males or one of my blue, either way it would turn up the same since blue is another form of black, so she would be blue with distant chocolate in her somewhere

Hi. They are able to stay locked up with her for 6 weeks and she is kept in a seperate coup. I just made a bit of a muscovy nest and put the chick eggs in it, coaxed her in the door with some food and away she went. Out of 4 fertile eggs 3 hatched and 2 of those survived. Number 3 didn't make it through the night unfortunately. Mother duck is very protective and gentle, so I don't think she could have squashed the third one. These chicks are tiny and 4 days old now - 1silkie and 1 bantam x. Have set up their food and water seperately so chicks can only eat the chick starter and ma duck doesn't leave water all over the floor or eat their food. Will post some pics if you like.

I would like to see some pics. I guess I am not the only curious one.

I believe they are around a month and a half. The one on the left does look bigger to me than the other one but it is not a drastic difference yet

So was a quick do. Ducks water elevated on bricks with water catcher underneath and ducks food elevated in background. Chicks feed under milk crate with weight on top to stop mum from shoving it over. I see mum having a nibble sometimes, so I could readjust a bit, but I don't mind.
