Hatch is done. 13 whites 2 black split to ripple males, 1 chocolate split to ripple female and 2 chocolate ripples. Happy with the number of babies. My last ripple baby I had to help out and it doesn't look good, think it was in the egg too long. Well see if it makes it through the night.

Well it seems my drake is still very fertile. Duck #1 already has at least 13 ducklings hatched out of 18 eggs! They are all so cute!

wow, good results there. I have ONE scovie nest totally by accident and she is on loads.. i mean loads of eggs.. i am hoping for poor results frankly,

what do yall feed your ducks, i think mine are getting sick off of the corn I've been feeding them, even though ive been feeding them it for years

I think you got a bad bag of feed if that's what's making them sick.Sometimes feed that sits in high humidity even if it doesn't get wet but it's really moist outside your feed can mold.And it won't be very noticeable either it will look fine but it can smell slightly off and your feed will be moldy.I had it happen recently.I had a bag of feed sit in a trash can that sat outside in the rain it didn't get wet but it had holes in the bottom of the can and the feed molded it looked just like normal but smelled a little odd and I looked really really close and could see bits of mold.Im really lucky my birds didn't get sick.Just an idea

Oh & lately mine have been free ranging I've just been feeding my babies the adult birds have had more then enough things to eat outside lately it's like the perfect time of year right now it's not to cold or hot or to dry or to wet so plants are thriving and there's bugs everywhere it's so awesome!!!!

Um I don't know what the corn is doing to affect them but maybe give them a break off it if you feel you should for a few weeks if you notice a difference great! If not just go back to what your doing I guess.
