I have 3 other ducks sitting, on probably 40 eggs between them, so I was hoping I wouldn't have a great hatch, but it sounds like I'm about to be over run with ducks.

i free range every day, they go up at night and go out during the day, i don't know whats been going on with them, I'm really scared of how they're getting sick

I'm really sorry I have several cases of coccidiosis going around right now so I feel you.I had a few chicks die.

I literally have just been letting them free range that's it and scraps from the fridge or after I'm done cooking I throw stuff out but they have 20 acres to forage on and they all feed themselves quite well.We have a small pond and a creek to that's still flowing barely.Im feeding my baby ducks and chicks purina chick starter which has yeast and probiotics and a bunch of other stuff for all sorts of baby birds and its 20% protein.

When I'm not letting them only free range I mix a bag of chick starter not medicated with a bag of scratch grain which has a lot of different seeds in it and grains obviously XD and they do really well off of that the scratch is about 10% protein and the chick starter 20% and as a treat they get a flock block which is like this giant compressed block seeds in stuff which I have to get again and they love it and oyster shell always and they get vitamins/electrolytes and ACV in their water often but not constantly.

I have a thread called COCCIDIOSIS?!?! my stupid iPad won't let me show the link but that will explain what I've had happening.I had a hen with a weak immune system get the coccidiosis and I thought it would just pass by since no one else had gotten ill but after a few weeks this horrid disease came back and killed two of my feeder chicks and the others were sick but I fed them to our boa earlier then planned which sucks because I hadn't got them chubby yet and our grass would never grow past my ankles our horse keeps it low so it's just an unlucky few events that have caused this I should have culled that hen the first time she got sick with IB back in 2013 but because I didn't I kept a weak link which introduced my flock to this.

it could be their water do you have a pond or a kiddie pool? I feed mine laying crumbles rough rice and a little hen scratch

yes i have a pond, and several stream on the property. I don't know what it is, i clean there water every day and twice a week i put in apple cider vinegar, like clean it, scrub the dirt on the sides and everything. When i used to just free range and not put them up at all and they barley got sick. Im so confused about what to do, i'm trying my best to keep them healthy but everything i try just doesn't seem to work.

There could be an algae build up in the pond I'm going thru that problem now. I've never heard of cleaning their waters with Apple cider vineger? Maybe that's it who told you to clean it like that??
