Muscovy keepers share your pics!

I measured my hens and they all seem to be around 5 inchs wide and about 7-8 inchs from head to chest. I made a frame kinda of thing and tried it out. It was 6 inches by 6 inches. My females fit snug but males couldn't get in.
Thank you:) It was actually a change in departments with additional functions:rolleyes: lol. I'm too old to learn new things, lol. I will try to measure some today. My girls always run into the pen to get away from the boys so I thought I'd fix it so they couldn't come in after them.

I really miss the egg collecting... Why must they stop laying so early.... I need to get quails and or chickens for egg collection in winter... I find it so exciting to collect freshly laid eggs.. Wheres a time travel machine when you need it!

The only hens I have laying right now are this year's clutch :thI'm lucky to get 3-4eggs each day. I keep telling my older hens that they're surfin' into a pot if the don't get it together. I need 8 a day! Theres 11 hens, I feel like thats a reasonable expectation

Hey everyone:frow I've been swamped with a new job and lots of ducks. I hope everyone is doing well and hello to all of the new members.
I have a question... any suggestions on what dimensions to use for an opening that adult drakes can not get into but hens can?

:ya :frow HI! Rene! Wondered what happened to you! Thrilled about the "additional" job duties!

I could use some help determining colors. I might need more pictures, but let's see what we can do together.

I'm thinking lavender, he's a lot lighter than my blue female:

Picture of all three. I'm thinking lavender, cream, lavender from front to back.

Darker of the two females, also lavender?

Lighter of the two females, I think she's a cream, but she does have blues on her head, neck, breast and tail which from my understanding creams don't. She does look like a dirty white.

Quite a bit of distance but the new females are all the way in the front and all the way in the back.

Your drake does look to be lavender. Any better pics of the females? The darker one looks to have brown tones so she wouldn't be lavender. The lighter one is hard to see in your pics.

I'll work on getting some this weekend. Been hard this week since I get home after the sun has set. Darn time change!
