Funny i am going to have to make a trip to the river this week for some minnows.I gave my ducks, now almost 4 months old, their first live treat today. I went to the store and got feeder goldfish and put them in my ducks baby pool. Two of them, including my Muscovy, Apollo, had a blast and went nuts trying to catch them. The other two were kinda confused and just watched. I thought it was hilarious
I'd say the ratios have been good with these two hatches
So sorry you lost another, not a bad ratio on the ones left though, do you plan to sell or keep?Well...checked the ratio in this last clutch....after losing another duckling to the **** turkeys a couple days ago it brought us down to 8 ducklings.....3 boys 5 girls
Iain they are lovely.I am a proud new owner of two young muscovy girls. A friend who runs a sanctuary nearby brought them over today to join my flock. Not sure what color they are?? I am told they are about 12 weeks old.
