Muscovy keepers share your pics!

Thanks! I can deal with that lol. Right now they chirp up a storm when I get close to them... at least the Drake does... the Duck is a little less vocal but still chirps away when she is in their pool!
Aren't they precious, they don't call them the quackless ducks for nothin

I'd like to hear that.

All he can muster is a chirp... but right after Bonsai gives out a mighty banty crow Yang will stand up (runner duck style... and almost fall over) open his beak wide... and chirp... lol... he looks a little flustered but doesn't stop him from trying again.

I will have to try to get it on tape, he won't do it every time.... but 7 times out of 10 he will!

We 'inherited' one Muscovy duckling/hen and fell in love with her instantly! She is so sweet! So we bought 2 more, slightly older, one drake and one hen. Love them!

Above is "Greystoke" our drake we just bought - 12 weeks old

Above to the left is "Nimh" we just bought, she is 12 weeks also

This is our original Muscovy - "Musky", she is 8 weeks old

That has to be funny.

That is awesome!!! I am going to hatch myself a Scovie next year for a house duck (shhh.... don't tell the hubby ;) Cause the two I got are very happy being out with the chickens and want nothing to do with me... unless i have the hose... lol

I do love Daisy and all of your pictures/stories of her!!!!
I'm glad you enjoy her! She's a little clown. I do wish I'd have gotten her as an egg I could have hatched myself but I got her at about 4 weeks old.
I hope you enjoy having a house duck,I know I've learned she takes a lot of attention but she's worth it.
