Muscovy keepers share your pics!

Hey all, I wanted to share new pics of my muscovy girls. They have settled in wonderfully to their new home and they look very happy. I love how they run up when they see me and follow me around wagging their tails. I swear they are smarter with better personalities than my other ducks.

Pretty! Do you have anymore pic's? Hard to tell size w/this pic'... how are the feet & legs? Barred baby but color?..... I see brown and blue....hmmmmm. Sorry...can't help you there... maybe once you're Scovy molts into adult feathers it will be easier to discern color. Pretty though.

I'm not sure but your duck is really cute. Mines about the same age and yours looks smaller? Maybe female?

Thank you very much for your help! I was thinking originally that the darker grey ones would be called silver, but looking around I realized that 'silver' was much lighter and they must be blue. I know they are going to change some more. I think it will be just a bit before they do their adult molt; the drakes are still growing out their wing feathers! I'm planning to breed the three light /silver colored ones together, I'll breed the two blue ducks to the black drake #2 and duck #5 to drake #1 since they have the same lacey markings on their breast. I'm planning to show some of them at our county fair; no one has 'scovies around here and I hope I can popularize them a bit.
Blues are a diluted black and if you breed 2 blues together 25% will be silver which is a very light color (pretty). I would call the lighter colors in your group lillac

Blue is a black with a single dilution gene.
blue X blue = 50% blue, 25% black, 25% silver
blue X silver = 50% blue, 50% silver
blue X black = 50% black ducklings, 50% blue ducklings
blue X chocolate = 50% black, 50% blue ducklings, drakelets that carry chocolate.

Silver is a black with two dilution genes.
silver X black = 100% blue ducklings
silver X blue = 50% silver, 50% blue ducklings
silver X silver = 100% silver ducklings

Lilac (Blue-Fawn)
lilac X lilac = 50% lilac, 25% chocolate, 25% buff ducklings
lilac X chocolate = 50% chocolate ducklings, 50% lilac ducklings

What will I get if I cross

Black Pied
With...
Chocolate Ripple and White/Gray?

I have a feeling there is no definite answer but any guess would be great. I cant wait to get an incubator (or a broody) so I can hatch some babies.
