Muscovy keepers share your pics!

Keeper - I had a look at the Wild One today and she does seem to have a brown / chocolate tone to alot of her feathers but she does have some bluey/black feathers as well. Is this uncommon?

Hey! I need help identifying the sex of the little bird (pretty sure it's a drakelet, and ignore the nasty muck, it's been raining for a loing time now)

It's name is Pip, and it isn't even fully feathered yet. Any guesses?

I thought so too, but I guess this is the final confirmation... It's going to be hard to convince my famly to let him stay, which is sad because 1) he's our first 'scovy (and only), and 2) he's the nicest duck we've ever had. Arrr.

Boy or girl?

This duck has me stumped. I was sure he was a boy for the longest time. Now, not so sure. He/she is right in between the sizes of the two I am certain are drakes and the two I am certain are girls, lol. I'm thinking girl cause she still talks a lot and the drakes pretty much only hiss now. What do you think?

Uh, I have another question. In the pictures I showed you, he had his wings held to the side. He does that almost all the time, do you think this could be a sign of angel wing or something else? Is it common for muscovies to sit down a lot? He always seems to be sitting down. He eats and drinks normally, and he seems to have enough energy, he's just always sitting down. We've had him for a month and a half now and he seems to be progressing well, so I was just planning on waiting to see, but if this is something I can prevent I'd like to know.
