I'm thinking girl cause she still talks a lot and the drakes pretty much only hiss now. What do you think?

Yeah, sounds and looks like a girl to me. My girls are always talking. DH mentioned it to me today.

She looks pretty much the same size as the other two girls in your pic and if she is the same age as the rest and the boys are hissing now .... congrats! it's a GIRL.

I had two girls that were not much smaller than one of my smaller drakes. In fact, I had one custormer who kept telling me that those two girls were, in fact, small drakes...

ChaosTheory , your young drake looks just fine. They do sit down alot. It may be the "meat bird" quality that has them sitting down to conserve some energy. Mine will hustle, hustle then PLOP down wherever and munch on some grass for a minute or so before getting up again. He doesn't look like he has angel wing. When their wing feathers begin coming in I think the extra weight pulls them down a bit. If they were sticking OUT away fm the body when he was standing up then you might have a problem but in that pic I don't see that.

My little scovies have feathered up a bit more and are looking very blue - apart from the brown on their chests.

I definately have 1 drake looking at the feet & overall body size, but still am unsure about another.

BTW - the drake is not in these 2 pics, but I may get a pic of him soon.

SO PRETTY!!!

At our fair they have a litle exhibit with a bunch of yellow ducklings in it and I think they are scovies!! And guess what?????? They are giving them away at the end of the fair!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
