You never know, it can happen. I had over 50 scovies hatched out by my girls this past spring/summer and only had 6 males out of all of them :) Here is the only Drake I kept, his name is Mario Blue Boy and he's now 8 months old

So lucky to have gotten that few drakes. Super Mario blue is gorgeous!

Funny fact: our crested rouen (the smallest duck we have) has began to copy the scovies huffing and puffing.
Sadly she injured herself a couple of nights ago and she has been inside enduring crate rest till she heals up. she is a demanding little patient too. every time the dog walks near her crate (the same dog who usually spends all day outside with them in the pen) she huffs and puffs. it's funny to see.

I'm so very very sad and depressed. I just got my beautiful Muscovies and somehow a fox took my lovely Rosa. We were just getting to know each other and she almost let me pet her yesterday. She liked to sit on the top of the 6' fence surrounding her pen. She never came down outside of it, but somehow a stupid fox got her. Only thing I can think of is that he startled her and she fell on the wrong side. All I found this morning were a few feathers and fox prints. I'm so bummed out. They are not that easy to find out here either. Stupid *^&$*@#&%*#@$& fox. He took one of my 'dinner-table' roosters last week. We are picking up a trap tomorrow in the hopes we can catch and relocate it. But my beautiful Rosa is gone
