Muscovy keepers share your pics!

The ducks we went and got for our drake had never had any human contact except for the man with the net who caught them,

They were just 4 months old when we got them but it left a lasting impression on them which took a long time to heal. Now they eat out of my hand but are still not get in your lap ducks nor do they like me to pick them up, but they know this is their home and they get great care so they are happy and so am I. They'll come around it just takes time.

I am impressed at the eat out of your hand, the ducks i got as older ones are still pretty standoffish, dusty being the worst. Lilly was always friendly, Lilac is cautious.

Not the best pictures but can see one of the babies hopped up on mama.
Going to try to block her up and get some food and water in there for the babies.

This clever girl found a partially covered window well to pop down into and build a nest. Has had a hard time getting back out and scattering eggs that I keep having to pull the window open from the basement and put back in the nest.
Put a small log in there to help hold the nest together and hopefully make it easier for her to get out. Besides her own eggs shes fostering a dozen Bourbon Red turkeys.

I just thought I'd show you all what Jake looks like. He is my girls boy toy lol because i raised them and had to go get him. He has a very bad habit of getting out of the pen and standing in the rain when it rains. that is him in the first pic
