They don't call them Mosquitos ducks for nothing, wait till the ducklings hatch you'll have an army.

I hate mosquitos this is why I went with this breed. The only thing my dh had to say was "they are mosquito ducks" we ran out & got them the same day lol.

they do a good job here, looks like I will be getting another female duck, a lady I got 2 of my girls from about 5 yrs ago called me today and asked me if I'd take her last Scovy girl seems they have all been flying off or the coyotes are getting them, [she doesn't pen them up]

So she is handicapped she walks with a limp. DH said what ever and I cannot stand the thoughts of this one duck being eaten so I'll be calling her in the morning to tell her I'll take her. I should have my head examined.

Well they keep them under control but we don' have a lot of them here anyway, but I sure remember when I lived in FL. wish I had known about Muscovy's back then.

I live in "the great lake state"

mosquitos are BAD here ! I am just hoping they keep it under control so we dont get eaten alive. I have to go run around in the back yard & dump out water buckets.
