Muscovy keepers share your pics!

I won't find out for a couple more weeks if he's even able to get them for sure . . . he didn't get any last year because there were several others that snapped them up first. He asked me how many I was interested in (he usually gets between 25 - 50 for himself) and I told him just a few. He's not positive he will get any this year either - he should know in a couple more weeks when the schools are done for the year.

WOW I wonder what school, it sounds neat. I wish our school here taught the kids stuff like that. My dd would surely get an A in chicken wrangling LOL

Mama scovy still trying to hatch eggs but darn cats keep snatching them.

Meanwhile, turkey hen tucked in the broody hut was willing to accept the few I managed to save and is fostering nicely.

Second scovy was kind enough to nest in a plastic nest box and picked the whole thing up and tucked her away in the broody hut. Babies are hatching like popcorn and cats can't get to them.

Here is my Muscovy. Her name is Daisy. We love her! She thinks she's a cat. We have 2 outside cats that she hangs out with and they share her food. When we open the door (to our house) she walks right in like she owns the place!
