Muscovy keepers share your pics!

The larger ones could be males. I was surprised by the size difference in my first baby muscovies (they were a month old then) and it turned out the big ones where all males.

is there a reason some are 3x bigger than the others?
im new to muscovies these are my first ones

I'm new to them to, but the Muscovy we got was half the size of her sister at five days old and we saw her sister a few days ago.... both a week and a half old, and the sister was still WAY bigger then ours. My husband has a friend who use to have muscovys and said there sizes can be all over the place. Will be interesting to see how big are girl turns out.

yup i have 9 im on the list to receive 15 more in june I cant wait lol. I havent told my husband yet he's out of town for work for the summer. Ya know what they say its better to ask for forgivness than permission

@Therrychicken,
forgive me, it just seemed from statements on this and other threads that things said were not ment how looked posted.
on taming, i tamed my pair of horribley traumatized formerly free ranged and had no human contact, by just feeding night crawlers making different sounds for coming, going, putzing around, putzing with, feeding, and treats. they caught on incredibly quick to what ment what, and would soon ignore me if i wasn't making sounds for feeding, treating, watering, or handling them. if you by bait store worms, you should squeeze the worms gently out from head downward to vent (did DNR rehabbing and that said would stop boosted healthy and fat seeming birds etc from suddenly dying as then weren't just stuffing the animals with nearly as much parasites and chems as otherwise would)under water faucet, as that helps remove most of parasites, and harmful chems etc used on bait type feeders. i just fed garden worms.
the sound conditioning helped fast to overcome the ducks terror of dogs, as a while before i got (bodies left where laid putrifying), one of old owners dogs had massacred lot of other ducks he had, these two and one other females only survivors.

adorable scovy eceryone! I think these eight will be one grey, two black, and rest brown. any guessing? if my pic loads this time (only trouble on here i swear!)..

Hi all:)
I posted this on another thread but no response. Can anybody offer advice?
I'm almost at lockdown for my very first hatch!! Extremely excited and equally nervous so I just want to check a couple of things.
I'm in Australia and have done mostly a dry hatch until now as the air sacks were not growing much at all.
The temp has been at 37.5ºc and humidity was up near 50% then I took it down to 20. What temp and humidity should I be aiming for when I reach lockdown?
Also, should I be misting the eggs in the last few days? I haven't as yet.

I think 3 chocolates and one black. And it's ok, I may not have worded myself properly. We've named him draco and his girl bellatrix I have locked the mean drak up for a little while so draco can have some peace for a little while.

Its Hatching season! Here are a few shots of our first brood to hatch this year. This is Nimh's second year of hatching. Her first two hatches last year, she hatched 18 of 19 and then 16 of 19. This first round this year, it looks like she only has about 7 or 8. We have 4 other brody mama's sitting on nests right now too, so we will be overrun with mama's and ducklings very shortly!
