Isn't it great all the colors and patterns scovys come in - all beautiful, never boring!

Question for you folks that use your Scovy ducks for other breed foster moms/incubators.....

Is there any drawbacks to adding chicken eggs for hatching to a clutch or is it better to just have chicky eggs?

Obviously the chicks hatch almost 2 weeks sooner so either timing or remove?

I want a few eggs to hatch from each scovy girl but I can collect into composite clutchs for hatching.

And yeah, chicken babies don't learn to swim so well.......

Any tips to share?

Think I've got the better part of 2 weeks before I start hearing the fwap fwap fwap of little ducky footsies.
