Awww thats so cute, looks like someone has been having fun, mine dont really like the rain just the mud left behind but I think its because they are still only little.

This was after the rain, they had been making mud pies.

Sadly the little duckling died after two day I went out this evening and it was laying flat up under its adopted silkie mom. So I just put 8 more eggs in the incabator that should be that same cross and the mom is sitting on 6 of that cross. So hopefully can get some more.

If you sprout those oats they'll have a lot more fans. Can do indoors. Scatter them regularly in a moist area if you have one - has to stay that way for them to sprout.

Your duck lets you Pet her? She must be pretty calm!! The only way you can touch mine is if you have a worm in your hand... Even then she doesnt trust you..

She doesn't seem to mind. She wasn't raised from a duckling either. She is just pretty calm. Freaks out if you pick her up though. However she has bumblefoot. I have been treating it with oral baytril and triple antibiotic ointment. I lanced it twice but could not find any pus or a core. She is acting much healthier and walking around a little more but the wounds don't look too much different but didn't look red the last time I checked.
