Yes! I do that a lot....I enjoy it when I have the time. So far I manage to find the eggs just a bit before they start to sit, then I steal most of them......so far so good.....

You've been lucky, i have found nests full of eggs because the duck herself has gone MIA...

Is there water in the bucket that she's trying to bathe in, or does she just like contorting herself into a bucket?

I call this Scovie in a bucket.. she's 1.5yo.. one of our hatches.. Her name is Chocolate Ripple..

Hey everybody I know this is a Muscovy thread but I just got my first pair of wood ducks and they are gorgeous!!! I love them!!

Sorry the pictures aren't very good quality. This week I made a new coop for my Muscovy ducks out of the lats off pallets and some old plywood and some old roofing frames for the frame. It took me a few days to make and I am very impressed with how well it turned out and what makes it even better is that it was completely free to make apart from two door hinges and a bolt latch. I have painted it red since these pictures last night but here it is under construction.
