Muscovy keepers share your pics!

I'd say Hershey is the daddy to, very pretty Scovy's wouldn't the duckling be chocolate?

One duckling is a Chocolate Pied, then the other is the white/lav boy I showed you pictures of above. I have a blue pied scovy drake as well, that could have been the father.
He's nice! unusual, most drakes past a certain aging cannot, i do have a few just about to turn 1yo that manage to get up to the 4ft chain link but otherwise? no way, but i have big drakes.. the shelf in the barn is enough of a challenge lol
Hershey is 2 or perhaps 3 years old. When they were younger, they were a lot slimmer and could fly so easily, but now...they are old and fat and still fly. LOL

Here is Big Boy, my other drake. I couldn't find the folder that has updated pictures of him, but here he is as a juvie.

Hi all!
I'm new to this breed and acquired two this past weekend. I think one is a girl and am not sure about the other, also I have no clue on their ages.
I fell in love with these two ducks even though they don't want anything to do with me currently. lol
I'd love to get a couple more. Can anyone direct me to quality breeders of this breed?

Congratulations to your new aquisitions

Looks like you got two females of different ages. The duck on the left, with the red face is an adult duck, while the one on the right with the fully feathered head is still rather young.
Do you have any idea why the bird on the left lost her tail feathers?

Thank you so much! When I found them they were mashed in a cage with a lot of other ducks so I imagine that's why their feathers are frayed and missing. I'm very happy to have them and adore their sweet sounds. The young one already seems to be warming up to me quickly. The older one has a lot of distrust but it's only been a few days.

How do people adjust older ducks to their new homes? None of my other waterfowl fly well so I've never had anything that would fly away. lol I'd like to put them on the pond after a period of adjustment (and I want to keep them quarantined from my other ducks and geese for a bit).

Poor babies, I cannot even go where they sell livestock or to shows because of the people selling their animals and the way they are caged.

Seen that quite a bit at swaps. I Hate that, i mean people should be far more cautious. The oldest i have any brought in were 6-7mths... time, a few treats.. again time lol i still have one who is a spaz(yes, scovie) she will always be a handful just her personality.
