Muscovy keepers share your pics!

The white pair are smaller than my original black ones but have larger carnucling. Also they act more dominate/mature, immediately both took lead positions in the flock with out to much fussing. The old lead pair just gave up. I'll try to get some picks later today.
Who you got them from had no idea of their ages?

There is no way of telling at this point, you just have to sit back and watch and wait they will go through so many changes it will blow your mind. they sure are pretty. Do you have the parents? what colors are they?

The mom white , which is dominant in muscovies ,and the dad is black, which is also dominant but, the dad was heterozygous for chocolate, and believe it or not they we're only 6 months when the mom laid , the parents were babies in June , but the mom and dad weren't related if your thinking they had a sybling romance

The golf ball thing may have been a rock, not sure as it was dropped in pen then later think i dumped with bleh water or old day before bedding. it was pretty light and golf ball sized and hard, like old golfball all worn down (yes i know if casing was worn tot far off that rest inside is rubber bands).

i opened the wallet to release the moths.. lol at TSC and bought flock raiser. I was told same plant etc that makes dumar and basically same, but dumar smells terrible as used to use and loved but smell of feed and watery poo. So scovy been on flock raiser solely for only days i think, and already noticing difference that the five bucks made. great poo, hardly any actually, seem healthier quieter and floofy. feed is multi purpose for tiny quail so mostly dust sized pieces that the scovy waste most mouth fulls of so working really well considering. I've been keeping two new cooped with six other duck ducks and on and off dracklet (i let just him out to go nuts when he gets too cagie). I've got almost done extensions to pen.

I've never used anything other than Flock Raiser I like it for the flock, maybe one day you'll try fermented feed, alot less waste. and I hope you'll show pics when done, always an inspiration to see how others have their set up.

Never entered my mind about sib romance. which would be fine anyway. It's amazing what colors come out of the eggs, and how much they change over the course of a few months, be sure to keep posting so we can follow the transformation.
