Hmmm, never heard of it and couldn't find any info on the wb or in my books. Sorry for your loss... You should consider sending it off for a necropsy. Cause of death was probably a yolk sack infection and dehydration.

I gave her/him water everyday and I don't think it was a yolk sac infection side note about the prematurity , even if the yolk sac was absorbed she was born early by about 4 days which I found out not by this experience is a critical thing to be born even that early, so that's why I said she was premature, plus she was super small and weak

I really don't want to send her for that, all I want is to bury her where all my ducks that died have been buried

And Kathy I get what your saying about it, it's not premature just because it hatched early ,I understand , I'm sayin that she looked premature from her size and little fluff she actually had on her belly an how her legs weren't working
