I don't know about where you live, but here you can kill wild animals on your own property anytime of the year.

thats not legal i mean like i'm not truly sure :( , i don't know if its national or if it is state, but i thought out of season you cant kill an animal, like deer, u can't kill deer out of deer season or ducks out of duck season without a fine/ partial jail time. i could be wrong but i thought that was a rule for every where in the US, you are probably right since you live in your area, but I'm just saying what I've been told

I'm not 100% sure, but I have always been told that you can hunt deer on your own property out of season, and with out a license. I know that there are no laws here against killing small animals such as foxes, raccoons, and opossums.

Technically we can't kill a wild predator unless it's threatening us or our livestock if we kill for fun we will be arrested.& talking about foxes there was one by my coop a few nights ago I thought it was a bobcat & I actually was pretty excited cuz I really want to see the big cats that live around here seeing a cougar would be so amazing that is if I wasn't injured/killed so anyhow I was approaching it up to 60 foot distance I had a really bright flashlight so I could see its eyes really well but once it turned around I saw its tail and ears so I realized it was a fox.I yelled at it and it just stared at me I wasn't going to hurt it but I wanted it to leave so my flock was safe.It walked away after a few minutes.I had my dogs chase the beam of my flashlight around where the fox was at so it would be scared away they love lights so they barked and chased the light & everyone was ok when I came out the next morning. It was a neat experience I've seen 3 foxes near my coop & a raccoon on our porch in the last 2 years.Ive only had about 4 birds die from predators 3 from raccoons 1 from a fox.Hawks fly over my coop everyday they have never touched my birds/rabbits I think they get enough wild food so I enjoy seeing them some get really close to my coop too but my roosters let off an alarm & the whole flock hides & the hawks never try very hard to spot them. When we hear coyotes we shoot a gun and it scares them off for a year or more they are really scared of that we just shoot into the bushes(we can't see them but you can hear them howling)& every once in awhile a buck & some does cross through & if our dogs see them they chase them forever like until they can't breathe they never catch them though I've seen them get close but man dear can hop!

Poult ur to good of a person I would have killed it

If you drive the fox 30 minutes away it should be far enough away not to find it's way back. The one I caught was quite terrified and not incredibly aggressive probably because of my dog. I put a sheet over the trap and the drive was pretty easy. letting it go wasn't an issue either it ran out the second I opened the door. Thick leather gloves and you should be fine. I've had very large raccoons try to bite me without luck. I prefer not taking chances so I built this for my flock.

solid 4x4 posts poured at 2' deep 3/4 inch plywood as walls, and I buried lucaban aluminum panels 18" deep all around the boarder and under the door. Thing is bear proof and 90% of the wood was junk at jobsites. This thing cost under 150.
