Apparently the pekin Eggs under twitch started to hatch yesterday!! we had 1 dozen. mom says she saw one hatching and another pipping last night!!! :D That means that Dodder has been breeding the other Pekins, though we never see it.

As for Myrtle shes still setting for another week. Wow. I never though that Dodder was breeding the hens.

Most of my muscovy eggs have internally pipped and they are only on day 31. Do you all think this is too early? No external pips yet. My temp has been spot on the whole incubation.

nah its not to early, I've had some internally pip a whole week before they hatched so u should be fine

that's seems a little early yes maybe some will hatch early. One week? I highly doubt that there is way to much liquid in the egg at that point in incubation. Usually when they start to pip it means they have 24-48 hours to hatch. I just hatched 20 muscovy about a week ago. 4 blues rest black

uh well it was a week, it may have been unlikely and believe me it was, but they hatched. All but 2 didn't because i guess they did pip to early since they piped a day before the rest

That's fine if I may ask how long have you been raising muscovy? I've been raising them and other domestics for about 10 years. Yes I know quite a bit about the exotics but I know a lot about domestics too. My favorites are the ripples
