Muscovy keepers share your pics!

Ok this is my first post. My husband and I are new to being duck parents. We starred with 3 ducklings we bought at the flea market the weekend before Easter. They were very small, maybe a few weeks. They've grown into their colors since then, and we are puzzled at what we have. I know 2 are a breed of muscovy and one is a female mallard (?) I don't think their full breed anything but if someone could help us out and maybe point us in the right direction of what we might exactly know what we have on our hands??

This was when they were babies the day we got them

Any help is GREATLY appreciated!!

I'm really missing having a Muscovy in the house. I don't suppose there's anyone who has a baby that needs a very good home? I'm in Sacramento so anywhere near me would be great as I think it may be way too hot to ship a baby.

I wish you lived near me. I have 2 newly hatched chocolates that follow you, come running wagging their tail and chirping.

I wish I knew, I came home from work & went to let her out of her room & she was just laying peacefully in her bedding. No bedding was kicked out or anything, it's like she went to sleep. She was fine 2 hours before when my roommate came home & said hi to her & let the dogs outside. She's in my freezer out back now, all wrapped ready for when I have her cremated.
It's been months now & I still cry missing her. I've been told maybe I just need to get another to help with missing her.

i know how hard it is losing them, especially when you don't know why, ever since I've raised muscovies every single time i lose anybody i just always miss them, they all have their own personalities and all leave a mark on how they affect our lives. My Muscovies are my babies and its always hard losing any of them so i know how you feel.
