LOL u r a victim of chicken math!!!!!!!!Well we already broke our own number rule haha!
When we decided to get ducks we said four would be our number. We went to pick them up, two muscovies and two rouens. We left the breeder with those four and a pekin! But we really wanted anconas from the start and just couldn't find any locally....umm...that changed just days after we picked up the others. So, we picked up all the person had for baby anconas! Seven of them. Only four stay here forever though the other three go to a friend. Then a friend had one baby ancona hatch and in a not safe spot so now she is here as well. So our four went to thirteen for now but will go down to nine once we can sex the ancona crew.
We figure by next year we will probably have to keep some babies from ours just becauseOr, I do anyway..I haven't let my fiance in on that idea yet

Absolutely!LOL u r a victim of chicken math!!!!!!!!
I'd say both are drakes. I base this on large feet and how the heads look. If you have a good eye, you can see the subtle differences when comparing male & female heads. Hard to describe. Yes, drakes will be larger than their female peers. Try looking at lots of female Muscovy pics & then look at your ducks. You may see what I mean.
Aww crap. That is not good! That means either one of them needs to go or...four of my other ducks do to make room for some girls. Thank you though!I'd say both are drakes. Females feather in faster than males. as for colors I have had Scovy's for 11 yrs and am still no good with colors. But they sure are beautiful ducklings. Congrats on your new babies. Maybe some blues or blue fawns there??Just entered into the Duck world... On Sunday, we picked up 3 Muscovy's, a Peking, a Rouen and a Cayuga.
Just wondering what colouring I should expect, as I am new I am not familiar with colours that Muscovies come in, beyond Black n White really. Sad, I know.. lol These guys are about 4 weeks, I noticed today that two of them have tail feathers coming in. (And a bit on the wings) =) While the other one does not.
