Muscovy keepers share your pics!

Also hey everybody , we've had some real drama on this thread. let's just all rembewhy we're on here, it's because we love muscovies :), we love the way they are affectionate, we love the way the babies call to you just for some time to spend with their human mommy, we love the way they can fly so gracefully and return home just to see you. We love the way they look out for each other, and the way mommas love their babies and we love to see them grow up, we love the way they come up to you just to say hi, and the way they wag their tales when they're happy :) lets just remeber that we're here all for the same reason

Something amazing has happened! I was going to hold off on getting another 'scovie because my dogs are all due for their yearly exams, but it just so happened that I had entered a contest to win some silkie hens in July and the winner was announced yesterday. I won the silkies, but the lady isn't NPIP so I couldn't take them. She said her friend IS NPIP and I could get some from her, and she wasn't sure what chicken breeds she has because all she's been talking about are ducklings and peachicks. It turns out the friend is the lady who I was going to get a 'scovie from but decided to wait! I won a Muscovy! :D Here are the babies:

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have just found a broken egg under my broody. the egg white is hard boiled. I took it and broke a bit but there is a duckling in some blooded water that moved a bit. it is day 32. what happened? I guess I killed it but I don't understand why the shell was broken and egg white cooked?! what should I do if I find more eggs like that?

Cooked egg white is most likely due to heat. Here where I live if you break an egg outside it will cook. As for the duckling if the egg already broke then it most likely would of died to begin with. Sorry you delt with that.
