Is there anything special you do to hatch them in the incubator? Like I said I never have done them. I do guinea eggs in mine but I dont have to do much for them just toss em in with the one tray of water and wait lol. I dont need to watch humidity or anything on em really.

Can any of you guys come over to this thread and weigh in on whether these muscovies are male or female? The poster has asked several times over the last couple months and has gotten no definitive answer, and now someone has told them they are females and are "lame ducks" and "lesbio" whatever that means. Personally I think they're drakes but you guys are the experts!

if she had stopped u shouldn't have taken them.she was fixing to go broody

Dont think she would go broody just on 4 eggs

Agree if she stops and you start seeing feathers, then leave them. However if she stops and no feathers then she's not going to sit

There were no feathers. And at night it was getting cold so I took them cause the embryo was probably dead. She's been laying eggs for 3 days now starlight and maybe tomorrow we'll have 4.

Varies between birds and experiance. Some lay 6 others lay 22
