Muscovy keepers share your pics!

My muscovies kept kicking the eggs out of the nest. So I gave up and collected all the eggs this morning. What do I come home to? A broody muscovy. In said same nest box. Plucked feathers and all. So I slipped the eggs in next to her. I bet she's sitting on chicken eggs. Ugh.

My big boy
Oh my, he is a big boy. Beautiful, all of them.

I separated my drake and my three blue ripple hens. One of them is laying and already has a clutch of 7 eggs. I'm hoping a get healthy ducklings this year!

25 ducklings out of 28 eggs.

I have three tan chicks with roses pink faces. The only pictures of pinkish ducklings were bronze/fume color. Has anyone else had pink faced ducklings?
This one has a yellow eye strip and on the other side a little yellow beauty dot. Canizie?

They kick bad eggs out of nests
Will they kick another duck's eggs out? Ex... Swedish or Pekin lays in Muscovy nest.

I have 3 juvenile Muscovys about 10 weeks old. We believe two are drakes. One of the Drakes and the female are always together, the other drake goes off by his self and joins back up. However i am having a problem. I have caught the drake female pair trying to drown a pekin duckling (this was not the typical little poke or get out of my way pinch, they were continually pushing her under. I have a BJG hen that has a deformed pelvis she wobbles around up right (her name is Weeble Wobble) and has to use her wings on the ground for balance. Today the young couple had Weeble Wobble cornered and were pecking the hell out of her (she was on her back in a panic thrashing around. My chickens, ducks, and geese, free range at the top of my pasture closest to the house is the chicken coop, duck pen, and goose pen. All of the ducks share the pen overnight Weeble Wobble also goes into tge duck pen ay night because she cannot get up the ramp coop but this happens during the day. Why are they doing this???My husband is livid and wants me to sell the pair (the single male doesnt do this). He is,also worried because we are overloaded with babys and he doesn't want any of them hurt. These guys were also feral and three days hatched when we got them? Any suggestions on,why they ate doing this and how to fix it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

She covered them all. The chickens are the culprits. They were kicking her out of the nest all morning. I kept chasing the chickens away from the nest. Got four chicken eggs out of her nest. We had to go work, so we had to move her away from the chickens. She scratched a perfect X on my hand in the process. She may stop sitting now. But... I'm doubtful the eggs would have hatched anyway being constantly tossed around by my chickens. Now she's in a pen with her nest box. I'm going home at lunch to see if she got back on it. She's such a sweet broody. If it had been my other muscovy that went broody those chickens wouldn't have dared go near her on the nest.

When I gave her the eggs we had picked up last night, I was worried. My other muscovy who is absolutely demon spawn when she goes broody would have taken my fingers off. Chrissy however just chirped at me and let me put the eggs in with her. She's a very sweet broody. I'm hoping being in a pen alone without my laying hens harassing her, she will get back on the nest. My drake was also tackling her and humping her this morning. Poor thing. I put her on the nest, so she knows that her eggs are in there with her. She just has never been in a pen before. She's not happy about it.

The X she gave me during the ordeal this morning. I'm so mad at my chickens. Just angry. They are only trying to lay in this nest because Chrissy is sitting in it. She had 4 chicken eggs plus the duck eggs under her. They will go lay in every nest the ducks make that they can get to. Ugh.

No not typically.
Not always the bad ones... I have 3 in my incubator that say otherwise... Sometimes they just get over enthusiastic about rearranging their nests.... And eggs get pushed off to the sides in the process...

Fingers crossed that you get lots of pretty ducklings @ameliadanielle

That is true, sometimes they accidently push eggs out. However if they continuously get kicked out, I'm my experience, they are bad
