Muscovy keepers share your pics!

I have some questions, everyone...

Can I get one Muscovy hen for brooding my Rouen eggs? Will she "adopt" them if her infertile eggs are replaced by Rouen eggs, discretely?
Also are Muscovies claws very long?
Do they need to roost? I have a coop now with little space for roosting, can they sleep outside under a horse (three sided/ run in) shed, and free range during the day?
What are the drakes like? Aggressive?
How are they towards other ducks?
What is their meat like?
Are they very tame?
How many ducks per drake?
Will they fly away?

Found my answer, cant figure out how to delete my post

I can answer the claws question.... YES and sharp as razors. OMG, I will never forget when I picked up my first Muscovy "Bob." @TherryChicken
He was an adult, first Muscovy I had ever seen and he was HUGE! I had been well warned and I was armoured but he got me good right there in the parking lot of a gas station. I had blood EVERYWHERE.
They LOVE to roost
Mine girls are aggressive but not overly to other ducks. Bob doesn't bother them.
I have read their meat is like veal.
Can be very tame.
Breeding age, my minimum is 3:1.
Yes, they will fly away. Some will come back. If you don't have a very large area it is best to have their wings clipped.
I saw someone mention they had their Muscovy shipped to them. I am having trouble finding any sexed chicks in my area and was wondering where people are ordering theirs from?

This post is so big that I am not sure how to find the original conversation here to see if it was already posted.

TIA
I haven't seen anyone who sells/ships sexed Muscovy babies. Check out @learycow http://alsquackery.weebly.com/muscovy-ducks.html
Good luck

Alton, now 10 weeks old, is still not holding his wings up very well. Anything I can do at this age?

Is this genetic?? I want badly to breed him because of his ripple color but I don't want to breed defects

Will do.  Do you have pictures posted anywhere?  Would love to see them.

Meeee tooo, and I do ... not much house work gets done here, lol.  I'm a weirdo with names, lol. I was actually trying to name him after the chipmunk (Alvin) but I kept coming up with Alton, lol.
My Boys:  Alton, Bob, Carl, Donald, Fred and George.
The girlfriends start with the same letter as their boyfriends.  I only have girls for Bob and Fred right now.
My Girls: Blanche, Belle and Babe, Falon and Frieda.
The B's are the only ones of breeding age so it has worked out perfectly, so far, lol:rolleyes:
