How long after Muscovy females hatched ducklings or have been taken from their eggs will they lay again?
I recently bought some females:
1 female hatched ducklings and ducklings were taken from her with in a couple days
1 female was sitting on eggs
2 females hatched ducklings and were separated from the ducklings.
And my 3 females I've had for almost a year now just hatched ducklings, but I took them from them because their nest just reeked and were 5 days past due. One of the 3 females eggs were just pipped. I still took her eggs and put them in the incubator. How long will it take for my girls to pick up laying again?

My Muscovy females usually begin to lay again about 4 weeks after ducklings hatch.

Thank goodness! You def need to lock them up for their protection.

Shes not making it easy! Shes gone kinda wild since having the babies. The creek runs right down the middle of our property and along our trails back in the woods. She had been keeping them a 100 yards back into the woods using it to come back for food and was sleeping in culvert with them. My husband has been working like crazy to clear sight lines and brush for predators but now shes sleeping back there somewhere too. I was at work tonight and my family couldn't find her again. I'll be home tomorrow night and plan on getting her in pen early. Wish me luck!

I hope they will be okay till you can get them in. They just have no idea how vulnerable they are when left out on their own.

Ugh lost another baby last night. Going to lock them up as soon as I see them today. Down to 3 blues

Are your houses secure? If they are you need not worry too much but we can never let our guard down.
