Oh my goodness, I think I need to start a spreadsheet on this so I can keep it all straight. I love genetics, but it takes me a while to wrap my head around it. Thank you for being patient, and so helpful!!
Yep! 29 total! And I think theres a full colored brown girl I've been hoping for. Not sure if you remember the little early hatcher I had to give to another girl but I think it's a kc Muscovy cross. Going to keep him to see how he turns out. Anyone ever have one?
I have a question for those who live where temps get really cold, One of my Muscovy females who is 6 yrs old now got frost bite on her fleshy knob about 3 yrs ago never had a bit of problem with it until about a month ago it started opening up I don't know if she scratched it on the pen door because when she was broody I had to put her into the small coop since she was chasing her sisters all over the coop well anyway I have been treating her for about 3 weeks now with antibiotic salve along with Veterycin spray nothing will heal this up. She acts fine and doesn't appear to be in pain or bothered by it but we're going to be going into cold weather soon and I would really like to get her healed. Any one ever had anything like this happen and how did you treat? I have pics from this morning.
