Muscovy keepers share your pics!

I'm bringing these 14 fluff balls and their mom home with me tomorrow. I already have a drake and 4 hens. I'm afraid pretty soon I will have more ducks than chickens. I have to say that I am loving my new peepers. I have never had ducks before as I've always raised chickens. Thought ducks would be too hard. So far they are pretty easy other than changing water three times a day. Wish I could do a big pond. Here are the ducks watching my goats inspect Quackerville while my husband was working on it. Gorgeous Scovy’s. I would love to be able to have a large flock of Muscovy’s. I can live with out multiple drakes though.

Well I brought home 10 Muscovy ducklings and mom today. I haven't taken any good photos yet but will soon. Their prior owner decided that she wants to try to raise 4 by herself. The fun is really beginning now. I am keeping them in a chicken tractor near the other ducks for now. The hens and drake have all been together before but the drake has never been around babies so I want to keep them safe.

Daphne to the left (Rouen), ‘Scovies to the right! Growing fast and now a happy flock of 3!

Here’s Huey, one of the Muscovies we hatched in April of this year (14+ weeks old). :) I was out feeding all the ducks and geese mealworm treats today in some really strong wind and it had many feathers blowing straight up!

Huey is a beautiful Muscovy and I was so amazed at the patterning of his feathers and coloring under his standing back feathers.

Also, for those of you that remember our struggle to determine the sex of our three Muscovies ... we have 3 hissing boys! That is 100% of our incubator Muscovy hatchlings! We now have drakes galore! :hit
