Is that blue one a drake or a hen?

I wanna say hen but it's hard to tell because of the size!

I wonder if people would think i was crazy if i took a trip to Austrailia and brought back a carry on FULL of Mammoth Muscovy eggs?

Hi, yes the blue/white pied bird is a girl, approx 3 years old. She has a beautifully caruncled face, have a look

This drakelet is only 5.5 months old

The black & white drake would be around 11 months I think when that picture was taken.

You are right Goat_Walker, they can't get too far off the ground

I can not get over the size of those birds! They are huge! That last one almost has the shape of a Aylesburry.

keeperofthehearth, sorry, forgot to tell you, the coconut cream can was to help people gauge size. He didn't like it though & had to be quick to get that picture. That was the drake that weighed 9.3kg @ 15 months.

Here she is. Nibbles has a little more black on her than your guy. She's about 2yrs old & was still healing after a goose attack. She'd look like a bantam compared to that guy though!
