Muscovy keepers share your pics!

I think you are right about breeding season approaching. These guys have been together for months and this just started. Mostly they pick up feathers from the ground, but there is one Del pullet that no longer has a tail. I sit out in the pens with them just hanging out everyday and have never witnessed any agressive behaviour except picking at the one pullets tail. Occasionally the ducks will mouth the feathers on the chickens backs, but it does not seem like they were pulling any of those feathers. In fact the chickens act like they are enjoying it. They have plent of room and are allowed to free-range most days as long as it's not too cold or windy. Even then the coop is left open for them to make the decision.

I'm going to try the egg shells some scrambled eggs.
Their current feed is 18% protein layer mix, whole grain wheat, and lots of fresh fruits and veggies.
We currently have about 8" of snow falling, so it's going to be awhile before the bugs are anywhere near here.

I have raised mallard ducklings...is there anythiing different to raising muscovies? Thanks!
