My muscovies are very photogenic, so I had yet another photo shoot with them today.

I think male/female offspring ratio has a lot to do with the Drake. I have had boys in the past that produced a lot of boys but my most recent breeding drake had almost all girls. I am no genetics guru but I do know it happens with cattle as well. we used to rarely get a heifer calf until we got a new bull, this year he produced 8 heifers & 1 bull calf.

Interesting perspective! thanks.. i have 3 drakes here so quite hard to narrow it down. I was just surprised at the obvious lean toward drakes with my hatches.

Daisy just got her new stroller for when we go on long walks or visits! I got camo so now she looks like she's in a duck blind

I gave my ducks, now almost 4 months old, their first live treat today. I went to the store and got feeder goldfish and put them in my ducks baby pool. Two of them, including my Muscovy, Apollo, had a blast and went nuts trying to catch them. The other two were kinda confused and just watched. I thought it was hilarious
